2. How do the filmmakers of An Inconvenient Truth try to get the audience to trust Al Gore and to want to listen to his message?

I think the audience trust Al Gore because of his experiences with his son and sister. I also think that the point he is trying to make by telling the audiene his story about almost loseing his son is that in the experience he realized what was going on in the world and how bad it was gitting. Another point that I think Gore make is that it takes most people to go though a tuff experience to notice whats really going on n the world.
